All Saints Academy

We are a unique Church Academy sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Clifton.

At All Saints’ Academy there is a real desire to achieve excellence in all that we do whilst living out our Christian values of love, peace, justice, respect, reconciliation and service to others.  Our Academy has excellent, modern facilities and a staff team who aim to provide a caring, enriching environment for our students where their needs and personal growth are given utmost priority.

All Saints' Academy was recently recognised by Ofsted for having outstanding leadership, outstanding provision for students spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, and effective governance that is driving improvements forward since the Academy first opened in 2011.

Bethany Gospel Hall

We are not an organisation, we are a living organism

We are ordinary people from various walks of life who have received the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and want to share our faith in Him together and with others. We are not part of any central organisation, we are an independent group who meet in the name of the Lord Jesus according to the principles set out in the New Testament.

We assume no title and have no denominational adherence.

Cheltenham Science Group

Cheltenham Science Group run the Cheltenham Science Centre on Coronation Square.

They are a community interest company seeking to inspire a new generation to love science, technology, engineering and maths.

Their aims are to:

  • enable the public to experience, investigate and enjoy hands-on science
  • provide science outreach to schools and community groups
  • forge links between local STEM-based businesses and the community

Community Activities Team (CAT)

The Community Activities (CAT) Team are a group of keen volunteers who organise regular events and activities for local residents to enjoy socialising together, in the Cheltenham West area.

The CAT team meet regularly to discuss and plan (and drink tea). They have organised a wide variety of activities, including fund-raising curry nights, bingo and day trips.

They are always looking for new CAT volunteers, so please get in touch of you are interested in being involved.

Create on the Square

Create on the Square is a Tea Bar and hub for creative enterprise in the Cheltenham West area. It was opened in 2016, by local residents, to accelerate the regeneration of Coronation Square.

In addition to serving tea and snacks in the Tea Bar, it encourages coworking and is the base for a number of community and business initiatives, including CheltenhamWest.com

Deya Brewing Company

DEYA beers are carefully considered and the result of thoughtful attention to detail.

Freshness and clarity of flavour+aroma are the key parameters to our beers and our focus throughout the process (Brewing, Fermentation, Conditioning, Packaging).

All our beer is unfiltered, unpasteurised and suitable for vegans. (Apart from some one off beers which may use Lactose. Such beers will clearly display if they do).

Our beers are naturally hazy as a result of recipe and process decisions.

Family Space

Family Space has been making friends in Cheltenham West for over ten years, serving the neighbourhood, bringing hope and offering a helping help that’s been practical and effective.

The work of Family Space is greatly valued by those who engage with it and widely respected by professionals whose the outcomes of it.

We depend on a small staff team supported by a wide range of volunteers who give us their time, their talents and their skills to support the work. Family Space has many volunteering opportunities across all of the activities we run.

We welcome volunteers of all skills. There is no time commitment too small. All we ask is for you to have a DBS check and we can help you with that.

Giggles Nursery

Giggles Nursery is a family friendly private day nursery that is situated in Cheltenham West.

We are located near GCHQ and specialise in providing high quality childcare for all children that are aged from three months to school age.

We understand that choosing the right nursery for your child is one of the hardest decisions you, as a parent, will have to make. With so many nurseries in Cheltenham it’s often difficult to choose.

Our caring and professional staff are dedicated to making the nursery experience a happy and fun one for both children and their families and we have been consistently rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Hesters Way Library

Hesters Way Library offers a range of services, in addition to lending books, including

  • PCs with internet access
  • Free public Wi-Fi
  • Apply for a bus pass (if you don’t have a computer)
  • Bookstart
  • Library Club
  • Baby Bounce & Rhyme

Transport can be provided to the library allowing members to choose their own books and meet others. Contact the library for more information or if you would like to volunteer.

Many libraries have Baby bounce and rhyme times for babies and toddlers.  As well as helping your child’s development, it’s also a great way for you to meet other parents and carers.
